NVS is an organisation which provides education to the kids at a very low cost. It works under the ministry of education, Department of School Education & Literacy. Now, NVS is inviting applications from the retired employees from Central Govt. , State Govt, Autonomous Organisations, etc.

• NVS needs a Legal Consultant

Number of Post

• There is only one post for the legal consultant in NVS.

Qualification

• A Law degree is required for this position. Candidates who are interested in and applying for this post must have this degree from a recognised university or institute.

Experience

• The candidate should have the work experience in that post which lies under the. pay level – 6 and above in pay scale of 7th CPC.
• Also, have experience in handling personnel & Administrative. Legal matters like filling the applications, scrutiny and interpretation of laws, rules & regulations and instructions issued by the government by time to time.
• Also knows the RTI matters handling.

Skills

• Every candidate must know the processing and operations of a Computer, mainly MS Office.
• He/she has proficiency in English and Hindi spoken as well as written.

Remuneration

• For the retired Employees from the Pensionable department: those who have a pension from the last working department will get a fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the last basic pay drawn at the time of retirement or Rs. 70,000 whichever is less.
• For the retired Employees from the Non-Pensionable department: fixed monthly amounts of 50% of the last basic salary drawn without adding the component of increment or Rs. 70,000 whichever is less.

Age Limit

• The age limit that will be allowed on this job is a maximum of 63 years old as per the date of June 15, 2022.

Terma & Conditions

• This job is on a Contract Basis.
• This Contract will be of 1 year but it will be extended for 2 years as per their performance and work passion.
• The Candidate will not have any criminal case against them. they have to be clear from every legal possession before applying for this post.
• Candidates have to submit a copy of the Pension Payment Order and Gratuity Payment Authority along with their application form.
• At the time of joining they will not have any criminal case pending against them.
• At the time of engagement, candidates have to submit their medical fitness certificate from a recognised physician.
• The selected candidate will be eligible for eight days of leaves in a calendar year on a pro-rata basis.
• No more than 5 leaves will not be sanctioned at a time.
• No TA/DA will be admissible to the legal consultant rather than the official tour.
• No increment and allowances will be allowed during the contract period.
• The Consultant will not leak any kind of information during the working or after work.
• The working hours of a consultant will be 09:00 am to 05:30 pm during the working days. but it will get late on some days as per workload. They also can be called on Saturdays, Sundays and other holidays as per the requirements.
• The consultant will not get another project or another job during working with NVS.
• This contract will be broken by the NVS without giving any cause to the consultant. They will give you 1 month’s notice.
• Income tax or another tax liability as applicable a super the prevailing rules will be deducted by the NVS before affecting the Payment.
• Incomplete applications and other than the prescribed format applications will not be considered for the cut off list.
• NVS has the right to decide the Mode of selection depending upon the number of applications received.

• The application should be neat. and clean and submit before the due date.
• The envelope must say “Application for the post of Consultant (Legal) -(On Contract)”.
• The candidates can apply through email also. But it will include the scan copy of the application form and other required documents such as PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Birth Certificate or a valid proof of Date of Birth, Educational Certificates, etc.
